Even so Germany is still relatively closed for foreign job seekers, it has been opening up recently. Good areas for finding jobs are especially IT, Investment-Banking and Consulting, but also the industry has some vacancies for foreigners. Being an EU-national (hence having work-permission in Germany) and speaking German fluently is often required, but not always perquisite. For IT-experts exist a special “green card program”.
