Ashridge achieves AACSB accreditation

Ashridge has achieved accreditation for its programmes in business by recent action of the Board of Directors of AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The official announcement was made on 2 December 2002.

Leslie Hannah, CEO, Ashridge said: "We are absolutely delighted with the AACSB accreditation. It is proof of the world class teaching and facilities at Ashridge. The AACSB standard is a global indicator of quality for individuals and organisations when looking at executive education qualification programmes." Ashridge is already accredited by EQUIS and AMBA.

As of November 2002, AACSB International accreditation had been awarded to only 15 institutions in Europe and six in Britain, including Ashridge. To achieve AACSB International accreditation, business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to curriculum, faculty resources, admissions, degree requirement, library and computer facilities, financial resources and intellectual climate that all are mission-linke
