SDA Bocconi, University of Florida and St. Gallen: Summer university for top retail management being held in Switzerland

SDA Bocconi collaborates with the University of Florida and University of St. Gallen
With the world of distribution becoming ever more international, the training for its top management is also moving in the same direction. The SDA Bocconi Marketing Department is working together with the Miller Center for Retailing Education and Research of the University of Florida and the Gottlieb Duttweiler Chair of International Retail Management of the University of St. Gallen to offer a summer university in retail to the senior management of distribution companies. Keeping in mind the time frame of the international educational calendar, the summer university is being held August 9 - 23 at St. Gallen in Switzerland and is open to some thirty European managers who will convene alongside 20 directors already enrolled in the SDA Bocconi Executive Master of Business Education International Retail Management and Marketing programme for whom the summer university constitutes the summer session of the programme. The overall quality of the participants is considered one of the strong points of the programme. SDA Bocconi works very closely with the University of Florida and University of St. Gallen and not only in the area of retailing studies. In recent years there has been an avid exchange of visiting professors that has given rise to various joint research programmes.
