Cranfield launches new Master Degrees in
Strategic Marketing and in Finance
A new MSc in Strategic Marketing has been launched by Cranfield School of Management to start in October 2003. The 11-month, full-time programme is aimed at recent graduates who want to pursue a career in marketing either in the UK or elsewhere. The programme is also relevant for those already working in marketing who wish to develop their expertise.
Taught by a team with an international reputation for researching, publishing and teaching on strategic marketing, the course will give graduates the knowledge and skills to analyse marketing issues and problems using a range of marketing tools and frameworks.
The programme has been developed from leading-edge research into Strategic Marketing carried out by the Cranfield Centre for Advanced Research in Marketing. Current research themes for the centre include Key Account Management, CRM, Strategic Sales and Brand Management and New Consumer Marketing.
Lynette Ryals, Director of the MSc in Strategic Marketing says, “The new MSc programme is designed to provide new graduates and practising managers with a practical and thoroughly research-grounded knowledge of strategic marketing. Course work and examples will include best practice in financial and professional services, retailing and consumer services, manufacturing and business-to-business.”
The Strategic Marketing MSc is one of two new postgraduate programmes at Cranfield. An MSc in Finance and Management is also due to start in September, aimed at highly motivated graduates preparing for careers in major investment banks, investment management, financial consultancy, corporate finance or financial research.
